Liturgical Roles

“For we are his handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for he good works that God has prepared in advance, that we should live in them” Ephesians 2:10

God has given us many talents in order to give Him glory.  All are invited to share their God-given talents at St. Augustine by participating in our liturgical ministries.

Altar Servers

Altar serving is open to any child who has received their First Communion as well as adults  Is there anymore wonderful way to serve God than assisting at His altar? This is a wonderful opportunity to have children get involved with the life of the Church at an early age.

Cantors

Open to any adult and high school student whose voice has changed and can carry a tune. Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the church, September through May. The choir sings at the morning Mass each Sunday and at special Liturgies throughout the church year. If interested, contact Paul Weisenberger, Director of Worship, at pweisenberger@staugies.org.
