First Steps Planning Your Wedding
Welcome to St. Augustine; it is our honor to celebrate this day with you. We ask that one or both of you are parishioners. If you have special circumstances, i.e. you are moving to or from Milwaukee in the near future, please contact the parish office to discuss your options.
Here is a list of steps to facilitate the pre-wedding process.
- Contact the parish office and reserve your date and time with Fr. Philip or Paul Weisenberger.
- Wedding times are as follows: Friday afternoon, Saturday at 11:00am or 1:00pm. Other times are permitted. If you have a special request please discuss it with our parish staff.
- Set up a rehearsal time. This usually takes place the evening before the wedding.
- Set up an initial meeting with our parish priest to begin the necessary paperwork.
- A baptismal certificate for all baptized Catholics will need to be issued from your parish of baptism and sent to the parish office. A call or written letter to this parish is all that is necessary. If for some reason your parish of baptism no longer exists please contact the parish office so we may assist you.
