Eucharistic Adoration

Eucharistic Adoration

Join us in worshipping the Lord in Eucharistic Adoration! This is held for 24 hours(yes, through the night!) beginning Thursdays at 7:30am and ending on Fridays at 7am at Immaculate Conception. If you would like to sign up for an hour, please contact Heather Patrowsky at hpatrowsky@soshcathmke.org. WHY PARTICIPATE IN EUCHARISTIC ADORATION? As Catholics, we believe that Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist. Anyone who prays to the Savior draws the whole world with him and raises it to God. Those who stand before the Lord are therefore fulfilling an eminent service....

Director of Operations Hired

Director of Operations Hired

Director of Operations Hired for South Shore Parishes Let me introduce myself. I am Sister Sylvia Anne Sheldon, a Sister of St. Francis of Assisi, also known as the Lake Franciscans. In days gone by, our sisters staffed the former St. Fredericks, Sacred Heart and St. Veronica schools. I follow in the footsteps of many sisters who shared faith and mission with you. I have served as a Director of Administrative Services for St. Mary's Visitation Parish in Elm Grove, the Director of IT for Cardinal Stritch University and the Finance Director of Blessed Savior, a four campus school. There were often renovations, office and equipment moves, finances to combine and new systems to put in place. As you know, parish life is always changing. In 2015, I was elected by my religious congregation to serve on its Leadership Team. While on this team, we designed and had constructed an 80 bed Memory Care and Assisted Living facility for our frail sisters. We...
